Picture Uploading

File Format: We only accept JPG and JPEG files.

Resolution: All file formats should be no lower than 200 dpi (dot per inch) resolution at 100% size. Images taken from the web typically are 72 dpi. An image lower than 200 dpi could be degraded and blurry. Colortech is not held responsible for image quality on images lower than 200 dpi.

Color Mode: We prefer image files in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) but RGB images are accepted.

Custom File Uploading

When designing your own files, please email weddings@colortechinc.com for a quote on the products and quantities that you would like to order.

File Format: We accept PDF's and current MAC and PC versions of Quark XPress, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.

Placemat  12 x 15" - Placemats can have a background picture but it must be placed 1/2" from all four edges. Total image size of 11 x 14”.
Magnet  2 3/4 x 3 3/4" (+ 1/16" for bleed) - Magnets can have a picture, solid color, or white background.
Coaster  3 3/8 x 3 3/8" (+ 1/16" for bleed) - Coasters can only have a solid color or white background.
Menu Card  5 1/2 x 8 1/2" - Menu Card can only have a solid color or white background.
Favor Tag 1 x 3" (+ 1/16" for bleed) - Favor Tags can only have a solid color or white background.
Bookmark  2 1/2 x 8 1/4" (+ 1/16" for bleed) - Bookmarks can only have a solid color or white background.
Signature Memory Card  8 1/2 x 11" - Signature Memory Card must have a white background only.

Picture Files: We accept JPG and TIFF at 200 dpi or higher.

Color Mode: All images should be CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black).

Fonts: All fonts used within your document must be included unless changed to outline. Both screen and printer fonts must be included where appropriate.

When uploading working files, please compress a folder and include the document, images, fonts, and a low resolution PDF (with embedded fonts) of what your file is to look like for our reference and email it to weddings@colortechinc.com. If you are creating more than one product, please create a compressed folder for each one.

All customized files must meet Colortech's print approval. If it does not, you will be notified before any work is done. If any work is needed to make the files print ready, you can fix it and resubmit it or our designers can do it for you for an additional charge of $75 per hour.
